Your wedding day, exactly as it felt

I was a journalism major who spent more time wandering around with a film camera than sitting in lecture halls. In 2018, a friend asked me to second shoot her wedding. During the first look, I completely fell apart. Standing there crying behind my camera, I knew this was the thing I had been looking for.

I photograph weddings and portraits for couples who want their day to feel like theirs — not a recreation of something they pinned two years ago. My favorite moments are the ones nobody choreographs. The dad adjusting his tie alone in a hallway. Two friends laughing so hard they have to hold each other up. The quiet breath a couple takes together right before they walk in. Those are the frames I live for, and honestly, I would chase them whether anyone paid me to or not.

Most of my couples tell me afterward that they forgot I was there. One bride told me I made her feel like the most relaxed person in the room on the most chaotic day of her life. That is the whole goal. You should feel like yourself on your wedding day, and your photos should look like proof that you did.
