A Little About Me and How I Got Here
I didn't set out to become a photographer — I backed into it by helping friends who tensed up the moment a camera appeared. Somewhere between talking them down and finding the right light, I realized this was actually the work. I built the studio from there.
Today, I photograph small business owners, creatives, and teams who need brand images that are warm without being stiff and polished without feeling hollow. My approach is pretty straightforward: good light, genuine conversation, and quiet direction that helps you look like yourself rather than a version of yourself that's trying very hard. I coach posing the way a good editor works — you shouldn't notice it's happening.
Most clients come in a little skeptical and leave with photos they actually use. That's the part I care about. People often tell me the session felt calmer than they expected, and that the images finally feel like them — not a LinkedIn headshot taken under fluorescent lights in 2019.
