A little about me and how I ended up here
I didn't set out to build a photography studio. It started with friends — the kind who needed headshots and had convinced themselves they were unphotographable. I'd spend an hour getting them comfortable, we'd make something good, and eventually word got around that I had a way of making the whole thing feel less like a dentist appointment.
These days I work with small business owners, creatives, and teams who need brand images that are warm and polished without looking like stock photos. My approach is pretty straightforward: I pay attention to light, I give clear direction on posing, and I keep the energy in the room easy. Nobody leaves here with a stiff jaw and a forced smile if I can help it.
Most clients tell me afterward that the session felt calmer than they expected — and that the photos actually look like them, which sounds simple until you've spent years avoiding the camera. That's the part I care about most. You should be able to hand someone one of your photos and have them say, yes, that's you. Not a version of you that existed only between 10 and 10:03 on a Tuesday.
