A little about me and how I got here
It started with friends. Not a grand plan or a formal apprenticeship — just me helping people I cared about feel less awkward in front of a lens. Somewhere between those early sessions and the ones I shoot now, I realized that getting comfortable on camera is a skill, not a personality trait, and I could actually teach it.
Today I work with small business owners, creatives, and teams who need brand images that look polished without feeling performed. My approach is pretty straightforward: I pay attention to the light, I guide you through posing in a way that feels like direction rather than choreography, and I keep the atmosphere calm enough that you forget to be self-conscious. Good coffee helps too.
Clients often tell me the session was quieter and easier than they expected — and that the photos finally look like them, not like a version of them that was trying too hard. That's the part I care most about. Anyone can produce a technically clean image. The work I find meaningful is when someone sees their photos and says, yes, that's actually me.
